Movement is accompanied by pain and reduced mobility due to limited joint flexion caused by inflammation.
Niagara Therapy’s unique NHC Cyclo-Therapy products has helped many arthritis sufferers by reducing their joint stiffness and relieving their joint pain. Following the application of Cyclo-Therapy, blood circulation increases which can help remove synovial fluid from tissues and decrease inflammation. This in return can improve joint mobility.

What is arthritis?
Arthritis is a disease that affects your joints, causing them to become inflamed or stiff and making movement very painful and difficult. Arthritic pain affects over 10 million people throughout the UK and is a common daily struggle.
What can cause arthritic pain?
There is no single answer, as there are many different forms of arthritis. Most types of arthritis are caused by several factors acting together and can be genetically acquired with some individuals being more at risk than others. The chance of arthritis is increased if you smoke, have had a previous injury, or have a very physically demanding job. It also tends to affect people more as they get older and most commonly causes hip joint pain, finger pain, knee pain and lower back pain.
Type of Arthritis
The most common type of arthritis are Osteoarthritis & Rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis is caused by daily wear and tear of joints but it can also arise because of an injury. In contrast, rheumatoid arthritis is caused by an attack of immune system on cells that line your joints which makes them swollen, stiff and painful.
