NHC Cyclo-Therapy® is a unique three-dimensional vibration generated by a sinusoidal electromechanical oscillator.

at home by an individual or by a medical or physical
therapy professional in the home or clinic setting.

NHC Cyclo-Therapy
NHC Cyclo-Therapy is a brilliant concept set to change the way many symptoms and conditions are treated, and like many such ideas, it has fascinatingly simple beginnings.
In Canada’s coal-mines in the 1930’s, William Wettlaufer had invented a new machine based on a shuffling action to sift and separate various grades of coal.
The system worked well enough, but he was more interested by the number of workers who leaned or sat on the machine during breaks, because they found it such an excellent way to soothe aching backs and revive weary muscles.
Observing a rare opportunity to help people around the world, William spent considerable time and energy producing scaled-down versions of his promising machine.
Our Big Idea
A Class IIa Medical Device* is a product that is used to prevent and treat a wide range of conditions including arthritic pain, back pain and the myriad of those affected by poor circulation such as leg ulcer. A Class IIa Medical Device does not achieve its result through chemical action with or on the body.
Medical devices act through alternative means (either physical and mechanical). The design of a medical device constitutes a major segment of biomedical engineering and so requires regulation and recognition when meeting strict EEC Directives.
All products that include our NHC Cyclo-Therapy® massage technology are classified as Class IIa medical devices by the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority. (Excludes Northern Ireland)

Simply put, NHC Cyclo-Therapy is a three dimensional deep tissue massage. The massage effect is different to others on the market as it works in a radiating elliptical movement effect rather than a piston-like hammering motion, which can often aggravate the muscles and joints and do more harm than good.
NHC Cyclo-Therapy operates rather like a gyroscope, creating a subtle, soothing, cycloidal (instead of just jarring) vibration. This is achieved through the multi-directional energy waves moving north/south, east/west, while also rotating on a constant basis.
